Nah!

Never mind that the Pac-Man narrowly edged Marquez in a majority decision, it was Francis and Anansa’s prenup pictorial that got the KO.

You’ll see what I’m talking about at the end of this post.

So there, at the end of the day, it was our couple who got the KO.

Ian and Anj took us to the Ilustrado compound in Intramuros where their wedding reception will be. It was surely a fun afternoon shooting an e-session especially a couple that’s just fresh from a fruitful stint at Discovery Weekend.

It was such a breeze to shoot Allan and AC. I noticed that they were naturally sweet in front of the camera and when I commended them, AC who works in Singapore told me how it just easily comes out having missed Allan for a while… AC is coming back to the Philippines for good, leaving behind a budding career for a life worthwhile with Allan.

I’ve been shooting several engagement sessions at the Walled City for quite a while now but mind you, Richard and Tara’s pictorial was the first time I got to shoot at the San Diego garden! I can just recall how my eyes rapidly scanned the area for spots- the place wasn’t very huge anyway, but the old stone walls were more than enough for me to be creative. We headed to the PNR terminal afterwards.

Johndee and Rani took us back to where they both started out as high school sweethearts- UP Rural High School in Los Baños, Laguna. Fast forward how many numbers of years, Rani, now a doctor, Johndee in sales, their battle-tested love for each other has only grown stronger. For their engagement session, it’s always kilig to go back to where it all began. Hello, UP Rural!

Prenup * Jobz & Erika

It was a long sunny drive to Anilao, Batangas for Jobz and Erika’s prenup pictorial. All of us where so looking forward to take that boat ride to the separate island for our shoot. However, upon reaching our venue, we were told that it was too dangerous to proceed. So we stayed within the confines of the resort, and surely still had a blast shooting our couple. Towards the end of the day the storm came and we were rain-drenched. Next time a raincoat should come in handy.

No, we weren’t aware of any national holidays when we were planning this prenup pictorial. But on the day of Dr. Jose Rizal’s 150th Birthday Celebration, Vina and Pepe.. uhh.. Goldwin (sorry) showed up! Where? In Intramuros, where else? On a dark and gloomy Monday morning when only a few would dare shoot, we braved the rain and overcast skies to successfully capture great images of a love affair that could spark a revolution.

Prenup * Lucky & Evita

There’s something “Japanese” about Lucky and Evita that I was wondering why they took us to Little Tokyo in Makati. Then I found out during our e-session that Evita stayed in the Land of the Rising Sun for some time. Moreover, it was a beautiful day to shoot and appreciate Evita’s lovely eyes, and Lucky’s badass poses. Yeah! (fistbump)
