But there are some instances where I can’t help but push myself (and my precious equipment) a bit further- like when it rains, for example.

In some of our most recent shoots, we had to deal with very unpredictable weather. In a couple of cases, the sun scorched at high noon and then suddenly it rained cats and dogs two hours later. It’s ridiculous! Thanks to weather-sealing, my camera and some lenses are built to withstand such situation. But I really praise our couples for being game enough to brave the rains with me. What most couples dread during their prenups i.e., rain and overcast skies surprisingly bring out more ummph! to their photos!

I gotta get myself some “weather-sealing” though. A good raincoat should do…

Don’t be too shocked with the new website set up. It’s still me, Vinz, here, still doing my best to deliver beautiful and ROCKIN’ wedding and prenup photos. You may be wondering where the rest of photos that you used to see here have moved. We have actually moved them to a new website where my photography packages are now beautifully tied up with my brother VJ’s equally stunning wedding and prenup videos. So now you get the Rockin’ Photographer (that’s me folks!) plus the Rockin’ Videographer (VJ Matias) together. That’s The Rockin Duo right there, or simply, TR2.

So if most of my photos are posted at TR2, what goes here?

I’m posting more personal stuff here from now on including some cool stories behind every shoot we have. This way, you also get to know me not just as a photographer but as a person as well. I also plan to share some of my personal favorite photos from a certain pictorial or coverage. I believe I’ll get to share even more stuff as this blog continues.
